and plant kits for individuals interested in unique
plant containers that are not the usual ‘circles
and squares’! These
planters are designed to allow the creation of
a landscape effect that circular and square containers
do not afford. Dish gardens with succulents can
provide an interesting, different and very attractive
table-top decoration.
Desert
Gardens planters are made with high fired stoneware
so they will not 'melt'‚ or flake with watering,
have extra drainage to enhance plant health, and
come with a matching saucer -- a rarity for a
stoneware planter.
Planter starter kits - Xeric Gardens
The
planter ‘kits’ include your choice of
planter with saucer, 4-7 plants, depending on
your planter choice, soil, top gravel, decorative
cactus wood and either colorful stones or petrified
wood to highlight the ‘space’ between
plants in your landscape.
These
gardens can stay healthy and live for years in
the same planter. Unlike the typical ‘cactus
garden’ – a round planter crammed with
too many barrel cacti that cannot survive for
long – these gardens are designed to live
and increase in interest and decorative effect
over time.
